As a result, children feel confident, develop a positive musical routine, and are encouraged to explore and express their creativity.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t
The Musicalit\u00e9 program provides children with an active learning experience<\/strong> through a variety of activities that contribute to their overall development. At the core of our approach, the body is considered the primary instrument that is stimulated through play.<\/p>\n Our program focuses on psychomotricity, which in turn contributes to other aspects of development such as cognitive, language, and social skills. Additionally, music helps guide children in performing movements, while encouraging them to gain confidence and find pleasure in exploring their motor abilities.<\/p>\n Our pedagogy is the culmination of more than 30 years<\/a> of experience in music education combined with the most relevant aspects of other music pedagogy methods such as\u00a0Orff<\/a>\u2009 and\u00a0Dalcroze.<\/a><\/p>\n Furthermore, we enrich our program by including activities which stimulate psychomotor development, language acquisition, sensory awareness, and a sense of physical and emotional security in children. Additionally, we included \u00a0movements in our activities in order to optimize neurosensory development.<\/p>\n Our musical program is unique, rich, and personalized. We are constantly striving to evolve and improve as we build upon our experience!<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t \u2022 30 minutes of musical activities per group<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a02.5 hours of music per week (minimum)<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0For children from 10 months to 6 years old<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Percussion instruments and diverse pedagogical tools<\/p>\n \u2022 Packages per session of 12 weeks or more<\/p>\n \u2022 New program and activities for each season<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Bilingual program<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t \u2022\u00a0Musical concepts are explored through the body<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Rhythmic and synchronization are at the core of our program<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Our courses are conceived as an informal performance which captivates the children’s attention<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Children guide and inspire our programming<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t These are some of the positive impacts noticed by the teachers and directors of the CPEs and daycare centers which implement our music program (Survey 2019):<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tLanguage<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t With our program, more than half of CPEs and daycares notice an improvement among children in their language acquisition. For example, the children follow oral patterns more easily and sing better.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tConcentration and Discipline<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t The more children are actively and physically engaged in the learning process, the more attentive and focused they are on performing suggested activities. Children take great pleasure in performing and exercising with a specific goal. More than 50% see positive changes in children’s behaviour.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tCoordination and Motor Skills<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t With our program, teachers have noticed an improvement in children’s lateral movements and balance as well as their ability to reproduce sequences in space.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tUnity<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t Singing together promotes comprehension and improves a sense of group cohesion.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tAcceptance of Diversity <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t Our activities in French, English and Spanish serve to raise awareness of the diversity of cultures in this country. Our funny accents make the children (and teachers) laugh.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tRhythmic Awareness<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t The children begin by sustaining the pulse, following rhythms naturally, and learning when to stop.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tLove of Music<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t The children wait impatiently for the day of their music class. During the week they spontaneously sing the program’s songs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tConsciousness and Confidence<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t With the relaxation activities and the Braingym program, the children close their eyes easily, remain silent, and are able to focus on their breathing.<\/p>\n\t \u00ab\u00a0Musicalit\u00e9 has been part of the Talents123 family for over 8 years. Their approach to instill a joy of music in children is phenomenal. Personal relationships are formed between their teachers and our children that last well beyond their daycare years.
